Safe Fleet Award

The Safe Fleet of the Year Award recognises organisations that take a proactive and structured approach to managing fleet safety.

It rewards organisations that treat the motor vehicle workspace as part of their overall workplace safety system, rather than relying solely on buying vehicles with high safety ratings.

To be considered for this award, organisations must demonstrate that they record and report all incidents involving fleet assets such as cars, trucks and plant. They must also establish a clear baseline for incidents, set targets to reduce them, and regularly report safety performance to key stakeholders.

Judges will be looking for strong governance, clear reporting, and visible executive commitment to improving fleet safety. The winning organisation will be able to show measurable improvements in safety outcomes supported by data, leadership and a commitment to continuous improvement.
